Matt Hafer’s first, second and third times on stage were the prelims, semi-finals and finals of the New Times Comedy Search at Uncle Funny’s in Davie, FL. Despite being a rank amateur at the time Matt placed fourth in a field of nearly 200 comics. It was less than 100 days after that when Matt was booked for his first paid gig, hosting at the Miami Improv, and he hasn’t looked back since. Matt has worked clubs, colleges and theatres throughout the country. He has also done several shows for charity groups like the Easter Seals, The Fraternal Order of Police, and the ASPCA. Matt’s versatility and mass appeal has allowed him to open for everyone from Bruce Bruce to Bob Saget. Other notable comedians that have requested Matt as their opening act include Jaime Kennedy and Andrew “Dice” Clay. His comedy has something for everyone and he can entertainaudiences of any age, size, shape or color, and he is a great addition to any show.
